There are many good reasons for getting to know the GIF demountable ventilated ceiling system. The technically perfect cassette design is jealously guarded, by uncompromising project design integrity, to provide optimum functionality.
Total integration of system components means unlimited flexibility in project design and ceiling layout – especially useful when planning kitchen alterations in later years. By operating over the whole ceiling area (the open plenum principle) reliable extraction of vapours rising from the bratt pans, boiling kettles, chargrills and so on is assured. Simultaneous incoming airstreams do not create uncomfortable draughts and a positive airflow pattern is created. Individual cassettes can be pushed and pulled in the suspension grid and can be removed without problem by hand and then reinstalled.
Washing of the cassettes can be effected very quickly in any commercial dishwash machine. In the event of fire, the GIF cassette system provides a complete fire barrier, protecting the plenum above against the spread of flames.
