A chain of benefits
Pipes and cables which are passed through exterior walls above and below ground, through ceilings, floors and service ducts must be sealed at the wall penetration points so that any penetration of gases and water into the building will be permanently prevented.
- Doyma DL link chains are simple and quick-to-install seals that fulfill this task.
- Doyma DL link chains seal pipes and cables against gases and water
- Doyma DL link chains are available in the materials that comply with the material recommendation by the Federal Institute for Consumer Health Protection for use in the drinking water sector.
- Doyma DL link chains are suitable for retrofit installations.
- Doyma DL link chains insulate against sound transmission.
Expansion-free Y-connection technology
The unique geometry of the rubber sealing elements ensures their sealing capacity - no leak path is possible.
Continuous AquaStop safety groove
The continuous AquaStop safety groove effects a more efficient compression of the sealing elements and therefore provides a greater sealing performance.
Distortion-resistant pressure elements
The inside perimeter profile of the pressure elements ensures they bed positively into the body of the rubber elements during tightening; this ensures they maintain their designed, relative position during installation.
Modular - therefore fits all sizes
Doyma DL link chains consist of individual sealing modules whose number and size are designed according to the annular space between the media tube/cable and the core bore/pipe sleeve/service duct to be sealed. The link chain is therefore also suitable for retrofit installations.
A single module consists of
- 1 rubber sealing element - DL sealing module S or 2 rubber sealing elements - DL sealing module B
- 2 pressure elements of fibreglass-reinforced polyamide
- 1 screw
- 1 nut
- 1 flat washer
The range of sealing modules is from DL 200, for annular space widths of 12.5 to 17.0 mm, to DL 650, for annular space widths of 71.0 to 85.0 mm.

Material range suits the widest range of applications
The link chains are available with rubber sealing elements of various widths:
- DL link chain B: Broad design, with two adjoining rubber sealing elements between the pressure elements.
- DL link chain S: Slim design, with one rubber sealing element between the pressure elements.

Simple installation
Installation of DL link chains
The link chain must be assembled from the interior of the building. Please verify the following:
- The screws must remain easily accessible for retightening!
- The installation is only possible if the media tube is centrally installed, since the Doyma DL link chain is not load bearing.
Installation sequence:
- Clean the interior wall of core bore/pipe sleeve/service duct where the link chain is to be installed.
- Push the closed link chain completely into the annular space. Moistening the sealing modules and the surfaces of core bore, sleeve and pipe, for example with a water-soap mixture (NO LUBRICANTS), will simplify the assembly.
- Tighten screws clockwise, not diagonally, in stages using the same number of turns per screw at each stage. Continue until the specified torque (refer to table) has been reached.
- Check the torque after about two hours and adjust, if necessary; to ensure a pressure-tight seal, check again after approximately 48 hours and adjust, if necessary.
Retrofit installation
- Loosen and remove one locking screw of the link chain.
- Place the open sealing module chain around the media tube (if necessary, compress or expand the sealing elements) and join the open ends to close the ring.
- Snap the previously removed screw, nut and flat washer and the two pressure plates together in the correct sequence and screw them without applying any pressure onto the sealing elements.
- Complete the installation - refer to installation sequence 1 - 4
The DOYMA warranty is limited to the replacement of defective material. The suitability of the product must be tested independently by the user for specific use.
Torques/Sealing module sizes
These torque settings are valid for both DL link chains B, with two rubber sealing elements and DL link chains S, with one rubber sealing element.
We have thought of everything: The DL sealing box contains precisely the link chain that you desire for your sealing task.
In order to accommodate your requirements, we supply the proper DL link chain completely assembled in the DL sealing box.
