BASIKA PowerStation terra

The PowerStation pumping station is the innovative and reliable end-to-end solution for safe drainage. It combines tremendous dependability, even when allowed to run dry, with impressive performance and intelligent control.

Each component contributes to an amazing overall solution:

  • Pumping station for underground installation, with collecting container and telescopic dome shaft made of PE plastic with integrated pumping system in accordance with DIN EN 12050-1 or DIN EN 12050-2
  • The monolithic design of the absolutely sealed and statically optimised container results in proven stability of over 50 years
  • Continuously adjustable telescopic dome shaft with water-tight BEGU shaft cover B 125/D 400 (inner Ø 600 mm) without ventilation opening, bolted odour-tight in accordance with DIN EN 124, a load distribution plate has to be fitted on-site to comply with load class D 400
  • Inflow/ventilation ducts and a connection for the empty cable pipe in accordance with DIN EN 877
  • Submersible lobe pumps as a single (mono) and double (duo) pump system for different applications and outputs

The increasing incidence of heavy rain events causes overloading of the public sewer network and can lead to backwater all the way back to the building. The innovative PowerStation drain terra prevents this reliably and is also used to pump any surface water accumulating to a higher sewer or seepage. Suitable for free-standing installation in frost-proof rooms, the rotary lobe pumps lifting system is designed for an application where kitchen water containing oils and grease needs to be pumped upstream. The collection container made of V4A stainless steel (grade 1.4404) is fitted with an integrated large-mesh sieve basket. The system is gas- and odour-tight to DIN EN 12050-1, equipped with two non-submersible, self-priming lobe pumps mounted on a torsion-resistant base plate.

Basika Lifting Systems

Those parts of the housing that come into contact with liquid are made of cast iron (GG25). The sturdy three-phase motors are insulated to class F and protected to IP 55. The geared motor runs at low speed and ensures the system runs quietly. The special construction of the self-priming lobe pumps ensures they are insensitive to running dry. The delivery discharge branch of the collecting pipe is sized at DN 80. The discharge head is 8 m.

The double lobe pumps control is integrated in a metal housing (W x H x D in mm: 380 x 600 x 210) with protection class IP 54. This controls the rotary lobe pumps alternately and is equipped with a main switch, motor protection switch and also issues alarm signals via a floating NO contact for centralized fault alarms. System voltage: 3 x 400 V, 50 Hz

The BASIKA heros K duo is a modern lifting system with a collecting container made of plastic PE to DIN EN 12050-1. The particularly high standard of quality makes it possible to pump waste water that contains or is free of faecal matter. The construction with submersible pumps facilitates submersed and floor-level installation in frost-proof rooms. The collection container is made of PE; it is gas- and odour-tight and fitted with a maintenance hatch.Basika Lifting Systems

The base of the container is angled to prevent deposits settling. A DN 40 connection is provided to connect the manually operated BASIKA diaphragm pump.

 

Insulated to class F and protected to IP 68, the lobe pumps with three-phase motors are pressure-water-tight and fully submersible. The high-quality shaft is made of stainless steel 1.4021 (AISI 420) and fitted with three-fold shaft seals. The motor housing and impeller are made of cast iron EN-GJL-250.

The system is controlled by an intelligent, fully automatic level controller, which also protects the lobe pumps from running dry.

Equipped with a floating central fault signalling unit and mains-powered alarm buzzer; powered by an additional rechargeable battery this can also issue alarm signals independent of the mains power supply. System voltage: 3 x 400 V, 50 Hz
